CRM Platform
The goal of this project was to help the client in simplifying the navigation in a CRM Platform. Navigation was originally done in a left nav with many collapsible sections and long lists of links. Later in the scope, there was a discussion on looking into additional ways that the platform could feel more personalized to the user. This was solved by having the user choose their role during the first log-in which led to a default dashboard experience that then could be further edited. If not, the user could also choose to start with a blank canvas to customize an empty dashboard. In the end, the platform’s dashboard became the priority and most effective way for a user to build how they want to experience the whole platform. Navigation to pages that may be visited much less often or not at all was demoted for workflow efficiency.
